‘Getting Married With Dad Dead Next Door’ is a new original play written by Dora Tan and this will be the first time it will be staged. It is a dark comedy about a wedding ceremony that takes place in an HDB flat while the father of the bride lies dead in the master bedroom.

‘The Bench’ is written by Henry Seow and was staged in 2005 as part of our Showoff5. It is about several people whose stories are interwoven together around a bench in a park. This time round, it will be performed by an all-new cast and with a slight revamp of the original script.

A woman is all packed and waiting at the airport to go away for a holiday.

These three ten-minute plays suggest that there are times a person’s hilarious behaviour may well mask a heartbreaking story in their lives.
